Simple and easy to install this modified spacer can add up to 10 ft/lbs of torque and 14 HP to stock LSx engines. It secret, the modified angle which allows 100% of the lower pathway to open, increasing throttle response and velocity. The Power Wedge is also designed to balance the plenum inside the manifold which allows vacuum to pull across the entire neck area. This improved air flow reduces pressure drop and increases air flow volume. The rear of the Power Wedge has an integrated "air horn" which boosts the airs velocity just before it enters the body of the intake. In the latest evolution,of this record setting system VaraRam has made advancements for both quality and ease of installation. Installation of this intake is a tricky proposition. The front of the air scoops attach behind the fog light openings, which is a very tight fit and a blind install (touch location) as seeing the mounting locations inside the front fascia is very difficult. A lift is recommended for visual assistance but is not necessary. While installation can be a little frustrating due to the tight spaces and limited visibility, it is well worth the effort. The C5 Corvette VaraRam Intake continues to be one of the most effective ways to add Horsepower and Torque to your 5th Generation Corvette.
