C7 Stingray Tow Hooks

C7 Corvette West Coast Corvette Tow Hooks have become very popular as either an everyday modification for those who regularly “track” their Corvette or the regular Joe who plans ahead in life and just keeps a couple in the trunk for an emergency. Many tracks require a front tow hook (tow eye) to be installed when on the track to speed up recovery and minimize the chances of the track flatbed operator screwing up your car pulling from the wrong spot. Not many of us race our Corvette though.

You may not be taking your Corvette to the track, but breakdowns or accidents happen and if you need a flatbed and don't have a tow hook, they will want to hook up to someplace under the front and the tow line/cable might be at an angle that would then hit the underside of the front and crack the splitter. Much better to have a hook available for them to use, either in the trunk or permanently installed.

C7 Stingray, Grand Sport and Z06 Tow Hooks are available in three colors. Anodized Black, Red or Blue and are designed to fit your C7 Z51, Z06, Grand Sport and Stingray Corvette. Forums advise us to be careful when choosing a tow hook and to avoid the 'cool' looking aftermarket tow hooks sold on the web made of cheap Steel and are often likely to snap when you need it the most. Use the factory tow eye or a quality tow hook from a reputable racing equipment manufacturer such as you find with the C7 Corvette West Coast Corvette Tow Hooks.

It is better to be safe than sorry. If you have performance Tow Hooks, it will make it easier for the tow truck driver to maneuver the car without causing further damage.

With the C7 Chevy designers got rid of the flat rectangle filter and replaced it with a more efficient cone shape design that allows an increased air flow and more efficient filtration. BMC Corvette Replacement Air Filters are made of a multi-layered cotton gauze soaked with low viscosity oil covered with an epoxy coated alloy mesh to ensure protection from petrol fumes and oxidization due to air humidity. They are produced using a "Full Molding" system that enables the characteristic red filter to be realized from a single mold with no welded joints thus avoiding easy breakage.
